The company is already with its plans. Yes, I know you might be thinking that the company might have launched another office Metaverse. But, No. This time it is something related to Metaverse gaming.

Let us tell you the news first, and later we will analyze what it is all about. Microsoft has put forward a $68.7 Billion Dollars all-cash bid to acquire the gaming giant Activision Blizzard. Yeah, my friend, you read the news, and the number mentioned here is correct: it is $68.7 Billion. It is the largest transaction that Microsoft has made to date.

The first and foremost reason is that Microsoft is planning to enter the Gaming Metaverse with the help of Activision Blizzard. The acquisition of the company by Microsoft makes it the third-largest gaming company in the world after Tencent and Sony.

Microsoft in an interview cleared that Activision will strengthen Microsoft’s hold in the Gaming sector. Microsoft will be using Activision Blizzard to bring its gaming across all smart devices including mobile phones, PC, consoles, and the cloud, and will help the company in building the gaming Metaverse.

What Is The Deal Between Activision and Microsoft

The deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard will give Microsoft access to the Activivon properties like Halo, Minecraft franchises, and not forget the two most popular games World of Warcraft and Call of duty. So, we can expect the action in VR Metaverse now.

As per the news, the CEO of Activision will remain in his position, and he along with his team will focus on developing strong games for the users. After the deal closes the Activision business will report to the Microsoft Gaming CEO.
